Chicken Arrozcaldo

1/2 kilo chicken wings or thighs
1 cup uncooked rice (Malagkit rice)
1 liter water
2 sauce
2 gloves garlic chopped
1 small onion chopped
Ginger peeled,1/4 inches
 Pepper to taste
Cooking oil
1 piece chicken broth cubes

Heat cooking oil in a casserole then saute the garlic,onion,ginger.Put in the chicken cook until turns golden brown. Add fish sauce and pepper to taste and uncooked rice then mix and cook for a few minutes.Pour in water bring to boil.Stir ocassionally and simmer until rice is fully cooked.Add chicken broth bring to boil.
Serve hot with tofu,lemon or egg.Share and enjoy! :)

Ginisang Monggo Guisado

1.  1/4 cups monggo beans
2.  3 cups water
3.  2 tbsp oil
4.  1 small onion, chopped
5.  2 gloves garlic,chopped
6.  1 small tomato,chopped
7.  1 cup small prawns,peeled,head discarded
8.  1 piece shrimp cubes
9.  Salt and pepper to taste
10. 1 small ampalaya sliced
11. Dahon ng ampalaya
12. 1/4 pork  diced or chicharon as alternative
Cooking Instruction:
A.Soak monggo beans in about 2 cups of water for 4 hours.
B.Simmer monggo beans until tender add water if needed most of the water has been absorbed about 30 minutes then set aside.
C.Heat oil in a casserole saute onion,garlic and tomato.Add diced pork saute until turn brown.
D.Stir in monggo beans bring to boil simmer over medium heat put the shrimp cubes
E.Add prawns and cook until turn orange in color around 2 to 3 minutes then followed by ampalaya leaves and ampalaya do not over cooked the vegetable.
F.Season with salt and pepper.Serve with rice.

Tortang Talong with Giniling and Skyflakes


   2 gloves garlic, minced
   1 small onion, diced
   1 small egg beaten
   Salt and pepper to taste
   1/2 kilo ground pork
   3 pieces eggplant
   1 piece skyflakes biscuit
   Cooking oil

  1. Grill eggplant in a stove.When cool down peel of the skin carefully set aside.
  2 .In a frying pan, saute garlic and onion then add ground pork until tender and slightly brown.
  3. Beat egg in a bowl put a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Lay the eggplant put the ground pork add the crumbs of skyflakes it adds flavor,Put some egg.
  5. Preheat the pan,hold the stem of the eggplant then fry until golden brown both side.
  6. Serve hot with plain rice and ketchup.Enjoy Eating!:)

    My Husband invited us to eat our dinner at Max's Restaurant and of course we all agreed.One of our favorite restaurant.The meal is composed of Sizzling Tofu,half Fried Chicken,Rice,Soda and Sinigang na hipon.My children really loves their food there are other menus to serve it's your choice to choose at affordable price.This meal is good for four persons.

Simple Treat On My Birthday

             We ordered the half rack of pork ribs,roast beef and chicken which comes with two side dishes our favorite potato salad and coleslaw .The food are tender and tasty and have a wonderful grilled taste.I love the sauce.I was surprise because service is very quick.I will definitely keep on coming back here at RACKS Restaurant eventhough the price of food is quite expensive because my children loves their food.

Beef Sukiyaki with Hungarian Sausage

Seasoning,Knorr and Lea & Perrins
1/2 kilo beef sukiyaki
1 piece hungarian sausage sliced
Barbeque marinade (Mother's Best)
Electric Grill

Cooking Procedure:
Marinade first the beef sukiyaki for about an hour.Then preheat the electric grill put butter until melted
Add  beef wait until turn brown add the hungarian sausage.Do not over cooked.Serve immediately with white rice.Enjoy your meal:)
Electric grill are used indoors alternative to outdoors grilling.

Ginisang Sayote at Pritong Galunggong

1 gloves garlic,chopped
1 medium onion,sliced
1 small tomato,chopped
50g ground pork
1 piece Knorr shrimp cubes
1/4 cup water
Cooking oil
4 pieces galunggong fish

How to cook:
In a casserole saute garlic,onion,tomato.Add in pork until turn golden brown.
Then put the shrimp cubes, add sayote and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
Pour in water and simmer until sayote is tender.Do not over cooked.No need
to add salt because the shrimp cubes gives taste already.In a seperate pan,fry
the fish serve immediately with white rice.Enjoy your meal.
